I was watching some random videos on YouTube this week, and decided I would search Lemonade Diet to see if there were any good videos. I can’t believe I haven’t looked at the lemonade diet videos on there before because there were several good stories and video blogs of people’s experience on the Master Cleanse. People have recorded a video on each day of the ten days of their lemonade diet and posted it. I plan on trying to find one of these people to let me interview them and post all of their videos here on the blog.

In the meantime, I found this video titled Master Cleanser aka Lemonade Diet from a popular user there and I’m posting it here. It’s just a basic video about the lemonade diet ingredients and mixing the drink. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Making the Lemonade Diet Taste Better

Here’s a couple of tips to make your Master Cleanse experience a little tastier!

  • If you’re trying to buy all Lemonade Diet recipe ingredients ahead of time, be warned that lemons will go bad if kept over 5 days.
  • We recommend drinking the Master Cleanser lemonade either very hot or very cold.  You can heat the purified water first and then add the ingredients to drink the lemonade hot, like a tea.
  • Do NOT add the cayenne pepper to the Lemonade Cleanse ahead of time. Add this at each serving. Why? The cayenne is hot enough normally – if you let it sit in the mixture all day, it amplifies the spice over time and will be unbearable to drink.
  • We encourage you to leave the pulp from your lemon in the juice – it adds to the strength of the lemon flavor. As a bonus, it also packs in more of the nutrients your body will be craving.
  • Getting sick of the lemonade recipe? Drink an extra eight-ounce glass of the purified distilled water between servings of Lemonade. It’ll help keep you hydrated, too!

The Master Cleanse Recipe has been repeated, modified, expanded, and dallied with tons over the past sixty years. We already showed you how to make the Lemonade in the Lemonade Diet Recipe page; now let’s look at the ingredients in more detail:

Fresh lemon juice: preferably organic, but grocery store lemons will do. Be sure you have a juicer so you can juice them yourself for maximum freshness and potency.
Grade B maple syrup: available at Whole Foods and other health stores.
Cayenne pepper: This can be omitted for those who have thin blood.

Celebrities Who Master Cleanse

The Lemonade Diet trend has made its way to Hollywood! Several celebrities have publicly stated that they’ve tried the Master Cleanse Diet – most notably:

  • Singer/actress Beyoncé Knowles announced on Oprah that she had lost 20 pounds on the Lemonade Cleanse in preparation for her role in Dreamgirls.
  • Actor Jared Leto says he lost all of the weight he gained for his role as John Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapman in the film Chapter 27, which was a total of sixty-two pounds, using the Lemonade Diet recipe.

I just got a note through our contact page from a reader that informed that there was not a way to leave comments on my site! It’s been weird how much traffic I’ve been getting, and all of the emails on the newsletter and through the contact page, but no comments.
