Lemonade Diet Tips - The Third Day
Tip #1
Tip #1 for conquering the Lemonade Diet is to get past the 3rd day. You don’t need to start the lemonade diet trying to get through all 10 days of the Master Cleanse. If you focus on getting past the third day it will come much easier. Not only is your third day on the Lemonade Diet one of the hardest, but dividing the lemonade diet up into smaller milestones makes the entire diet easier.

Does the diet only consist of the lemonade and water? (NO REAL FOOD AT ALL.) Please respond back.

Yes the Master cleanse does only consist of the lemonade and herbal tea, no food. It is tough for the first couple of days, but after that it gets much easier and you feel wonderful. I have done 10 days before( a year ago) and now I am on day 3 of my second cleanse.

I am on day 5 and am not lossing weight. Day 1- 181.2 day2-180.2 day3-180.4 day4- 179.6 day5 179.8 I am doing the cleanse for more reasons than lossing weight BUT being 50 lbs over weight I was hoping to loss the 2lbs per day. I’m drinking at least a gallon of water a day. I have reduced the amount of syrup I use daily. I am doin the SWF and nightly laxative tea. One thing I have been doing is making my lemonade in a liter bottle and drinking on it. Would it be better to make a glass of it instead every 2-3 hours? Should I maybe add psyhlum husks? I don’t want to get dissappointed but am. I was planning on going 10 days but may go for 14. Any advice would help. Also, do you think you can get immune to the laxative tea? Looking forward to your response. God Bless.

Sonia, Do not worry. The first time I did the cleanse I was very similar to you… only 1-2 pounds weight loss during the first half. Allot more actually came off for me once I broke the fast. I was 162-168 going into it and 152-155 1 week after I’d started eating again. At the end of the 10 day fast however I was only at 158-ish… I do not know if this is typical but those were my results. I would not alter the cleanse by adding psylium. I tried to incorporate P&B shakes during the first MC and my body did not appreciate it at all. If you want to continue the colon cleanse then I would recommend doing it after the MC… I also stress the importance of breaking the fast with healthful foods of fruits, nuts, and vegetables organic is best. If you can stay away from fast and processed foods for the first week or so after you will have amazing weight-loss results the rest of your life because you will lose your appetite for such foods…. Stay strong! Your body will tell you when to stop the cleanse. Sending light and good healing!

Hi rawmelody, I haven’t checked this site in awhile and was pleasantly surprised to see your comment. You were right on! I finished the 10 days not altering anything and I gave up the scale after day 5. On day 11 I had only lost 5 lbs but tons of inches. Then when I began eating and working out the weight has been coming off. It was hard to eat clean because I was craving so many different textures and flavors. I would like to do the cleanse again before Christmas because I feel it was a trail and error deal the first time. It was at day 8,9 &10 that I feel I had researched enough and had all my questions and concerns taken care of. Do you think it would be safe to do it again Dec 10- 20?
